Corrections & Accuracy
The Tech Archive corrections policy: how we fix material errors transparently, log significant corrections with dates, and keep facts current with "last verified" dates.
We work hard to get things right the first time — and when we don’t, we fix it in the open. Accuracy over ego.
Our commitment
- When we learn of a material error, we correct the article promptly.
- Significant corrections are logged transparently in that article’s “Updates & Corrections” section, with the date and what changed — we don’t quietly rewrite history.
- Time-sensitive facts (prices, limits, model versions) are re-checked on a schedule; each article shows when it was last verified.
Spotted something wrong?
Please tell us. Reply to any of our newsletter emails, or reach out through the channels on our About page. Every report is reviewed by a human editor, and we’ll follow up.
Where corrections appear
Per-article corrections live on each article (in its “Updates & Corrections” section) so the record travels with the content. This page explains the policy that governs them. For how we verify in the first place, see our Methodology.
