AI Disclosure
How The Tech Archive uses AI to assist research and drafting, with mandatory human editorial review and fact-checking, and a named editor accountable for every article.
We believe you deserve to know how the work in front of you was made. Here is our honest, plain-English disclosure.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research and draft our articles. That lets a small team cover a fast-moving field and, crucially, re-verify decaying facts on a schedule in a way a traditional newsroom can’t sustain.
The human part is non-negotiable
Every article is reviewed and fact-checked under human editorial oversight before it’s published, and a named human editor is accountable for it. AI assists; humans decide what ships.
What we will never do
- We will never invent a fake human author, byline, headshot, or credentials for AI-assisted work.
- We will never publish unreviewed, scaled machine content.
- We will never let speed override accuracy. If a claim can’t be verified, it doesn’t run.
Why we disclose
Disclosure is part of earning trust. You can see how we verify on our Methodology page, and how we handle mistakes on our Corrections & Accuracy page.
